Base Tune:  9896, Model: 1997 Daytona t595, 9896-based T595,  old cam timing, wheel sens.
ECU: SAGEM MC2000 , Year: 1997 Features: K&N filter and Giannelli (generic) baffled Low pipe.
Comments: Results come from a stratification of four enhanced maps. Tested for 10+ hours on the road.
It behaves very well.  Very good torque on all RPMs. Very good throttle response. Increased A/F ratios for
smoothness and power. ( Dinojet ) Decreased A/F ratios for economy at peak torques. ( Suzuki )  Increased
a little timings table, for good lower end. (My own) Leveled map peaks, reduced fuel consumption at every 
throttle opening. Smoothed transients from different ranges.  Neutral idle carefully tested and trimmed.
Co2 balanced. Idle Delta corrected to crossover warm engine fluctuations. No more popping, pulls like a TRAIN
at every RPM. Revving cut @ 10800 for safety.  Economy Run target not reached yet... ;-) ECU identification.

 I managed to solve major compatibility issues for the 9896 modified map.Smoother erogation, superb  revving, reduced
heat and enhanced mileage.
- Original 9859 Map. Low mount aftermarket exhaust-Old cams and with wheel   sensor.
- Dinojet M501-507 advanced Ignition map ( longtime tested )
- A/F ratios balanced to enhance economy-run ( -13%)
- Accurately tested Ignition limit, for a better performance without heat problems.
- Sharpened ignition advance. Now it looses enough at low rpms, but at high revvings it performs as a real missile.
  ( recommend to re-test fork settings and rear shock too. )
- idle setting is a problem, since it is only ignition advance related. CO2 setting can't make a real point.

without secondary air injection, O2 Sensor disabled, fuel table edited only, otherwise all stock.
Targeted AFR 13.5 23% TP to 5500 RPM, 13.2 to 70% TP to 8000 RPM 13.0 to 100%.
Result: eliminated hole from 4000-6000 rpm, approx 4HP gain across rev range, huge increase in low to mid range torque at all real world throttle %. Bike smoother to ride on road, pulls like a train.  Overall, massive improvement,

Sprint ST/RS from VIN 089737 to 139276 Aftermarket exhaust 18 Aug 2004, This map was modified on a DynoJet 250
dyno using the TuningLink connected to the TuneEdit program. PCIII (fuel) trim created on bike with K&N filter and
Triumph aftermarket pipe. Makes a huge  difference all over the rev-range. Note that this tune is just Dave Sillence's
9890 based fueltrim applied to the 10078 base tune. 9890 and 10078 are identical except for some minute differences
in the x and y axis of the different maps.

second gen ecu.it produced 98hp and 63tq with a near perfect air fuel ratio and a perfectly flat torque curve. The bike
had a k&n air filter, gutted air box (removal of the metal shroud inside air box), two brothers exhaust. This tune was
done on a cold day 50*f in Portland Oregon (air density information) I use this map for my 500 mile weekly commute.

I would be very happy to receive a feedback on this map.  Please send a mail to Tom or to Power-Tripp.
A stock R3T or one with a slip-on exhaust tends to make ~86 hp on my dyno (~ 13% lower than a Dynojet), and 130-131 ft-lb of torque. Simply re-calibrating the ECU (mapping) tends to result in 115-117 hp, and 140-142 ft-lb of torque. A very nice improvement.

Attached is a "tune" for stock and slip-on exhaust R3T models, as well as a graph of output differences. Dashed lines are torque. Red is an R3T with TORS and stock air filter. Yellow is after tuning. This resulted in 43+ mpg cruising at 70 mph on 87 octane fuel. Speedo corrected for stock tire. Speed limiter raised. Ignition timing improved in lower gears. ENJOY!
